New Canal Lining Project Completed
DBA crews recently completed the MC-85 – South Extension Canal Lining for the Buckeye Water Conservation and Drainage District in Buckeye, Arizona.
The project was to excavate a section of the drainage/irrigation channel along the South Extension Canal, place geogrid and aggregate base, demolish and remove existing drainage structures, place shotcrete lining with fibrous reinforcement and other miscellaneous work for a total of 2,925 SY of new channel. The canal is located between Jackrabbit Trail and Perryville Road.
In order to meet the client’s dry-up schedule, DBA crews worked 6 days a week and 10-hour days.
