DBA Construction, Inc. is looking for an experienced Project Manager for heavy civil construction contracts. The ideal candidate will be motivated and team orientated, to help support a project team on a wide variety of Heavy Civil projects
SUMMARY:
The Project manager is the primary contact and manages projects from start to finish, including material procurement, subcontracts, submittals, scheduling, RFI's, cost tracking, budget/cost code reports, change orders, and project closeout.
This position requires a strong understanding of public works construction methods, attention to detail, data analysis, the ability to prioritize and execute, problem solve, and have excellent documentation skills, and good interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all project team members.
PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience within a heavy civil construction or engineering firm is preferred
B.S. Degree or equivalent work experience
Must have good documentation skills and be proactive in resolving issues quickly
Ability to write professional and effective emails and letters
Ability to timely organize and archive project documentation
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Understand construction language, plans, materials, and methods and ability to communicate effectively within the construction environment
