Under our existing Job Order Contract with the Arizona Game & Fish Department, DBA has completed a new shooting range in Kingman and is under construction for a new sharp-shooter range in Sierra Vista.
Near Kingman, at the 7-Mile Shooting Range Facility, DBA was responsible for the earthwork associated with the reconstruction of a high-power rifle range with 50 meter long berms on both sides of range with 7-foot high retaining walls.
Within the same facility, DBA was contracted to dig out a new below-grade hand-gun shooting range with 20-foot high retaining walls.
Upon completion of the Kingman project, DBA was awarded a second contract with AZ Game & Fish to build a new sharp-shooter facility in Sierra Vista, Arizona. The project will be built in three phases to include the West Berm Range 3 with 20-foot tall earthen walls, the backstop berm at Range 3, and a 20-foot tall backstop berm at Ranges 1 & 2.
Both facilities required heavy earthmoving operations. The Sierra Vista facility required hauling and placement of more than 19,230 CY.
